I love the new Pinterest notification icons! Brilliant!

I think that this really adds a whole new dimension to Pinterest especially with regards to comments.

Having comment notifications I think will create a lot more discussion and dialogue on pins.

It has been an overwhelming feeling of excitement, and even a feeling of blessedness, to finally get my Hokie Heels out to customers.

I don't actually like the word customer, it's so businesslike, and while parts of owning a business most certainly feel like business, sharing my heels with those who truly appreciate them feels more like cheering for your favorite team with friends and one of your guys just dunked on the rival team's head.

Where are the boundaries of creativity?

As I've been pondering this notion of a 'greenSPARK' for SPARKcon (http://www.sparkcon.com, an event that highlights the diverse creative culture of Raleigh and the surrounding communities in North Carolina), I've been going in circles trying to determine rough boundaries for highlighting sustainability and 'green' practices within the context of an event that is about creativity, the arts, and talent usually in things like fashion, dance, music, and even digital and technology, as in geekSPARK.

It is probably not something you think too much about but one day your now young or perhaps even unborn children will more than likely have access to every single thing you have ever posted online. A complete digital archive of your best and worst behavior.

Simply imagine if your own parents had grown up with a digital Facebook or Twitter trail. Every drunken party, every hateful tirade, every immature quip, every relationship status, there for your enjoyment but probably embarrassment and disgust.
